AIPMT 2014 Counseling Schedule

AIPMT 2014 Counselling – AIPMT 2014 counseling of successful candidates for admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats will begin from July 1, 2014. The AIPMT 2014 counselling process, to be conducted in 3 rounds will conclude on September 5, 2014. The vacant seats will be transferred to state quota on the concluding day of AIPMT 2014 counseling.

 The AIPMT 2014 counseling process includes Counseling Registration, Choice Filling and Indicative Seat and is conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

On the basis of AIPMT 2014 Counselling, candidates will be selected for undergraduate (UG) Medical and Dental courses for admission to 15% of total seats on All India Quota except the States of Jammu & Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh.

 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had conducted AIPMT 2014 exam on May 4, 2014. The result of AIPMT 2014 has been be declared by CBSE on June 7, 2014.

Important Note of AIPMT 2014 Counselling:

  • Time 05.00 PM mentioned above is by computer server time
  • Commencement of MBBS first year session – from September 1, 2014
  • During the AIPMT 2014 counselling, the eligibility criteria, required documents, etc of the merit listed candidates shall be verified as per the norms laid by the respective authorities. Therein the Medical/Dental College shall be allotted to the candidates as per the choice.
    Merit/Wait List for Counselling fewer than 15% All India Quota:

    The merit list of the eligible and successful Candidates who have opted for 15% All India quota seats will be prepared by the CBSE on the basis of score obtained in the AIPMT 2014. The merit list will be equal to the number of seats available for allotment in MBBS/BDS courses under 15% All India Quota. There shall also be a waiting list equal to 4 times of the merit list. The list of successful candidates (Merit List/ Waiting List) shall be forwarded to the Directorate General of Health Services (Medical Examination Cell), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Indiafor the purpose of allotment of seats by Online Counselling.

     

    Merit/Wait List for Counselling under 15% All India Quota:

     The merit list of the eligible and successful Candidates who have opted for 15% All India quota seats will be prepared by the CBSE on the basis of score obtained in the AIPMT 2014. The merit list will be equal to the number of seats available for allotment in MBBS/BDS courses under 15% All India Quota. There shall also be a waiting list equal to 4 times of the merit list. The list of successful candidates (Merit List/ Waiting List) shall be forwarded to the Directorate General of Health Services (Medical Examination Cell), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Indiafor the purpose of allotment of seats by Online Counselling.

    Merit List for seats other than 15% All India Quota

    Based on the information in respect of State code of eligibility and domicile filled in by the candidates in the application form and the score obtained by the candidates in the AIPMT 2014, CBSE will prepare State level merit list of successful candidates for each participating state. The list of successful candidates shall be forwarded to the Directorate of Medical Education of the State concernedfor the purpose of allotment of seats by online counselling/personal appearance by following the rules and reservation policies applicable to the State/UT concerned

    • All participating Medical Institutions and Universities shall prepare their own ranking based on the All India merit list of successful candidates of AIPMT 2014 and other criteria as decided by them
    • The list of successful candidates of AIPMT who have opted for AFMC shall be forwarded to the Directorate General of Armed Force Medical Service, Ministry of Defence, Government of Indiafor screening and counselling

    Counselling and admission in participating State Medical Colleges/Universities/ Institutions using merit of AIPMT 2014

     Candidates applied for admission in participating State medical colleges/universities/Institutions using merit list of AIPMT 2014 shall follow the instructions of the authorities of the medical college/Institution/University concerned for counselling. Candidates are also advised to contact the authorities of State/Institution/University and remain in touch with their websites for details.

     The Cutoff score of AIPMT 2014 entrance exam has been declared by CBSE.  AIPMT 2014 Cutoff is a predetermined minimal score which is required for admission in 15% of undergraduate Medical and Dental course seats in Government Medical and Dental Colleges across India, except Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir
