Delhi University College option will be reintroduced in the centralized admission forms

Delhi University forms to have college choice again

Students applying to DU will once again have the option of choosing the college they want. Last year, under the four-year undergraduate programme, students were only allowed to choose the course.

The forms for this year’s admission process, which is likely to begin by the month-end, may also be changed. Last year, students were allowed to choose from six BTech courses and other bachelor’s programmes. They were eligible for colleges where the courses were offered based on cutoffs.
Sources in the dean of students’ welfare said the university has decided to revert to the old format for the common admission form, so that colleges have more information while preparing their cutoff lists. Last year, seats in some colleges remained vacant even after the 10th cutoff list was announced.
