FiLIP helps parents easily call and keep track of their children. The watch not only tells time, but it can also pin down a child’s location.
According to Mashable, parents can programme up to five numbers into the gadget, which kids can call with the touch of a button.
Using the FiLIP app, parents and other pre-authorized adults can track the child’s location, make calls and send texts.
Parents can also set ‘SafeZones’, which are virtual radii around a specific destination. Parents select SafeZones based on the location where their child usually spends the most time, such as school.
FiLIP sends a notification to parents whenever their child leaves or arrives at a SafeZone.
The FiLIP includes two buttons, one of which is bright red, which a child use in case of an emergency. If no one answers, the watch calls the other four assigned contacts.
It also sends a notification with the child’s location to the first contact. While the child waits, the FiLIP plays a relaxing melody.
Each gadget costs 199.99 dollars and with an AT&T plan, parents can pay 10 dollars a month for unlimited location data, as well as voice calling.
Users can download the FiLIP app for both iPhone and Android.
