Samsung Electronics has extended its Galaxy lineup with the addition of Galaxy Core Advance smartphone. A successor to the original Samsung Galaxy Core, Core Advance sports a 4.7″ TFT display with a 480×800 (WVGA) pixel resolution. Galaxy Core Advance measures 133.3 x 70.5 x 9.7 mm and weighs 145gm.
It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor. Core Advance comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be extended upto 64GB through microSD card.
There’s 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash and a 2,000 mAh battery. The phone comes with a coated back cover and sports dedicated keys for voice recorder, camera, volume, menu, home and power functions.
Connectivity suite includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with GLONASS and NFC. Some other features include Optical Scan, Light Sensing technology, Instant Voice Recorder, Screen Curtain.
Galaxy Core Advance will come in Deep Blue and Pearl White colours. The smartphone will launch in early 2014.
